World of QuickVet
or Call: 302-659-0343
Our team has been working together with veterinary practices for more than 25 years, developing a unique, adaptable practice management system that is more flexible than anything else you'll find on the market today.  Our business philosophy has always been "be helpful, be better and ALWAYS be human".  We're one of the few or maybe only veterinary technology company that designs, develops and supports our own adaptable practice management system in house. When you call us you speak with the actual people who develop and maintain your QuickVet.
Over these many years, we've discovered technologies that compliment QuickVet and help our client practices provide the best medical care for their patients, including QuickPACS, J-Ray Laser Systems, BitDefender, MozyPro, just to name a few.  Whether you need a veterinary practice management system, have a question about our technologies, or make sure we really are as human as we claim... call us at 1-302-659-0343 or click the button to send us your questions!

J-Ray Achieving Hemostasis through Photonic Cauterization

"Cauterization (or cauterisation, or cautery) is a medical practice or technique of burning a part of a body to remove or close off a part of it."

The J-Ray Laser System provides exceptional cauterization of blood vessels and ablation of undesired growths, with superior patient & surgeon safety.  Since the cauterization is done with the same handpiece as laser surgery, it's very easy to use, and very intuitive!

"The posterior laryngofissure incision using a 980-nm contact diode laser (CDL) is feasible resulting in smaller incisional area and less lateral thermal damage." 1

"The lateral thermal damage produced by electrocautery was the largest, with a significant difference between laser and electrocautery" 1

"Regarding bleeding, the incisions performed with diode laser promoted a lower bleeding rate compared with scalpel and electrocautery" 2

"... however, surgeries performed with the laser also revealed a significant reduction in virus load per cell compared with those performed with electrocautery. The ease when handling the diode laser, because of the flexibility of its fibers and precision of its energy delivery system, provides high-accuracy surgery, which facilitates the treatment of large and/or multifocal lesions. The use of high-power diode laser is more effective in treatment protocols of lesions..." 3

  • The J-Ray Cautery tool provides greater precision (the tip is 600 um in diameter) than most electrocautery units.

  • Talk about safety, the J-Ray Cautery handpiece is FAR safer than any electrocautery unit, since it uses light to create the heat, thus no concern about electrocution. Since it's using light, it cools down immediately, so no concern for excess tissue damage or user burns.
